i overslept today and caused my sis to miss her school bus.. so in e end i hailed a taxi and accompanied her to school. e taxi driver so badddd la...
he was like reprimanding me and even my parents for not letting my sis study at tampines north pri when it is of walking distance and letting her study at changkat(in simei) instead, which is so inconvenient. so i tried to defend by saying it's actually not that far la, n last time i was from that school ma, register also easier...blah blah...alrite.. after that he said it's not near, and even if we were to walk for 30 min we also cannot reach there. ya, that's quite true, but the way he spoke was like blaming me for causing my sis to have such a hard life (having to travel here n there)..wahhhh!!! lame lor...
then after that he said about studies thing and talked about his children. one of his children is from dunman high.. and guess wad he said? he doesnt want his daughter to go RGS cos it's near town and he's afraid that she'll be led astray.. so he wanted her to go nanyang girls. however, in the end, his daughter chose dunman high instead and he was so pissed...not knowing that i was from dunman high, he carried on critisising dhs, saying that it's a BABY school.. OMG LA! wad baby school man! he said baby school bcos he thought that the facilities are so primary school blah blah...i was like WHERE GOT?! once again, i acted as though i didn't really know dunman high and defended, "No, the school is very good, the facilities are not baby and the xiao4 feng1 is excellent too.."in my mind, i was thinking, since u don't wanna ur child to be led astray(which in my opinion definitely includes being materialistic), then why are u toking about baby(which is obviously not) facilities which are like so under materialism??
anyway, though pissed, i think he meant no harm and i'm glad that my sis managed to get to school early even though we got up late...
